EMS
Delaware County Emergency Medical Service (DCEMS)
DCEMS provides 911 advanced life support service for Delaware County, including the Northwest portion of the City of Muncie. DCEMS is comprised of Paramedics and Advanced EMT's that respond on a wide variety of emergency calls, often in conjunction with other Emergency Medical Services and local Fire and Police Departments. DCEMS is on duty 24 hours a day,7 days a week,365 days a year. Our staff works rotating 24 hour shifts. Each staff member is on duty an average of 240 hours a month.
